Windmeier, Skip (Arthur Jay) Age 57, of Champlin, passed away on August 28th after an 18 month battle with cancer. Skip was a devoted husband and father who chose to stay at home to raise his daughters. He was a talented woodworker, building two beautiful homes for his family. He was also an avid outdoorsman, sharing his love of nature with his girls. Skip touched many lives and will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Windmeier. Survived by loving wife Jane, daughters Abby Guilford (John), Malee Windmeier (Josey), granddaughter Amelia Guilford, father Arthur Windmeier, sisters Annette Olson (Greg), Amy Haas (TJ) and their families. Memorial service at 10 am, Tuesday, September 2nd at Champlin United Methodist Church, 921 Downs Road, Champlin, MN. It will be followed by a celebration of Skip's life at Sundance Golf Club, 15240 113th Ave. N., Dayton, MN. Memorials preferred to the American Lung Cancer Association.
