Ridge, George S. age 86 of Edina, passed away on August 27, 2014. Navy veteran of WWII. Member of Richfield American Legion, Post 435. Washburn High School graduate, class of 1944. Long-time salesman in the mens wear business. He thoroughly enjoyed all of his many friends in the business and was especially fond of his pals from Washburn High School. Preceded in death by parents, Helen & Coleman H. Ridge; and brother, Coleman F. Ridge. Survived by wife, Marilyn; son, David (Tressa); daughters, Janet Ridge and Patricia Ridge (Lin); and grandson, JohnPaul (J.P.) Ridge. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday with visitation one hour prior at Church of St. Patrick of Edina, 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina. Interment Ft. Snelling.
