Ashby, Beatrice L. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Age 94, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2014, while surrounded by her family. Beatrice taught 2nd grade at the old Wyoming Elementary. She was a longtime member of Forest Lake Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer G. Ashby; sons-in-law, Kevin L. Berger and Richard D. Tague. She is survived by her children, Randall (Deborah), Roger, Cynthia (Berger) Tague; grandchildren, Randall Tague, Brian Ashby, Nicholas Ashby, Michael O'Brien; and great-granddaughter, Kimberly Beatrice Tague; sister, Arlene (Ken) Monson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Forest Lake Christian Church, 420 W. Broadway, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to service at church.
