Ericson, Marjorie B. "Marj" age 99, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Dudley; daughter, Mary Lou Ericson; brother, John Finn; and sister, Dorothy Adolfson. Survived by daughter, Jean Hampton; son, Jeffrey (Lorie) Ericson; grandchildren, Christopher Hampton, Melissa Hampton (Sinan Aral), Paul Ericson (Marnie); great-grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Ericson, Kaya Aral-Hampton. Marj was born in, and always considered herself a Minneapolis "Northside Girl". She loved music and was an accomplished pianist. Marj was a very social lady and loved to entertain family and friends. In recent years, she enjoyed traveling with her children. Marj, together with her husband Dudley, were active supporters of United Cerebral Palsy of MN and participated in the founding of Partnership Resources, Inc., an organization that supports disabled adults' participation in the work place and the community. Funeral service 1:00 PM Sunday, Aug. 31, Golden Valley Lutheran Church, 5501 Glenwood Ave., Golden Valley. Private interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
