Olson, Joyce K. age 83, of Minnetonka, passed away Aug. 16, 2014. Survived by Gene, her husband of 47 years; children, Kathryn Lehmann (Matthias), David Olson (Anne), Nancy Kehrer (Jim), Lori Egan (Jim), Steve Olson (Kathy); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Douglas Holen (Donna). Joyce is a graduate of Miss Wood's Academy and Macalaster College. She taught school for many years in the Hopkins School District and was a member of the Hopkins Women's Club. Recently Joyce was awarded -the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum where she and her husband Gene were dedicated volunteers. Joyce's love of children and teaching extended well beyond the classroom. She took an active interest in all the children whose lives she touched. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, we will miss her dearly. Memorial service 1:00 PM Thursday, August 21 with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon at Mt.
