Gulbrandson, Gerald "Jerry" Duane age 86, of Bloomington. He was a loving husband, supportive father, and good friend and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret. Also survived by daughters Gerri (Tim) Leonard and Diane Gulbrandson; sons David (Mary) Gulbrandson and Cory Gulbrandson; granddaughters Melissa (Peter) Roeglin, Teresa Leonard, Sarah Gulbrandson, and Jessica Gulbrandson; great-grand-daughter Emma Rose Roeglin; brother Robert Gulbrandson and sister Betty Gulbrandson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Stanton Gulbrandson, his mother Rose Weiss Gulbrandson, and infant son Gregg Gulbrandson. After completing his military ser-vice in the Navy and graduation from the University of Minnesota, Jerry was employed by Thermo King until his retirement in 1993. He also served many years as a Boy Scout leader in Edina and Bloomington. He pursued several different hobbies through the years among which were wine making, woodworking, leaded glass creation, and working outdoors in his yard. Family was central to Jerry's life with holiday gatherings a highlight. He will be greatly missed by all. Memorial service at 2:00, with family time starting at 1:00 on Saturday, July 26th, at the Edina Chapel of The Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S. Private interment at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to the Boy Scouts of America or other charities serving youth.
