Severson, Robert 82, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, July 18th, 2014. Robert was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 9, 1932 to Hamilton (Kermit) and Elin (Nyquist) Severson. Robert received degrees in economics and history from the University of Minnesota. Robert married Nancy Elizabeth Browning in Rockford, Illinois on June 22, 1957. He attended law school at the University of North Dakota School of Law, graduating in 1959. While attending law school, he met fellow law student, Dennis Sobolik, who he practiced law with for over 50 years. After graduating from law school he practiced law in Bemidji and Detroit Lakes, before joining the Brink Law Firm in 1965. Robert and Nancy have three children, Sondra, Mark (Kim) and Craig (Laurie)and seven grandchildren.Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, Hallock.
