Norrgard, Carol E. (Lofsness) age 86, of St. Louis Park passed away July 21, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Carol graduated from Gustavus where she met her husband Ted. They were married for almost 63 years. When the children were young she was active in Girl Scouts and Garden Club. She was proud of her Norske heritage, attended summer school in Oslo, and taught some Norwegian cooking classes through the Sons of Norway. Carol was a voracious reader and continued her education by at-tending over 30 Elderhostels. She was also a driver and coordinator for Dinner at Your Door. Survived by husband Aldon (Ted) Norrgard; daughters Gail Pipal and Jane Norr-gard; and grandchildren Russell Pipal and Allison Parker. At her request there will be a private family memorial at a future date.
