Shultz, Lorraine Margaret Born Feb. 23, 1918, died Dec. 6, 2017. A kinder gentler soul the world has not known. She was also smart, determined and devoted to her family. She was the first in her family to leave their Minnesota farm for the big city of Minneapolis to attend business college. While working at the Mpls. Star & Tribune, she met her husband Richard and they married in 1943. She left the world of work to raise 4 children: Tom, Jim, Mike and Mary, but her bookkeeping skills served her throughout her life. She was organized, thorough and thrifty. She was still walking, talking and thinking for herself until the end of her days. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the female political candidates of your choice. Pre-deceased by her husband and son Jim. Survived by her children; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and another on the way! Private service with her children.
