Barclay, Geneva E. (Longcor) age 96, of Rosemount, formerly of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on November 15,2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas J, sisters Elayne and Dolores and brother Russell. Survived by her children Elizabeth Heflin (Eric) and Douglas (Rene); grandchildren Kyrra, Jonathan, Kalli, Kathryn, and Madeline; and great-grandson, Kai Sullivan Gleeson. Born in Lake City, Minnesota on May 30, 1921. Gen spent her early adult years in Winona where she attended Winona Teachers College. When she married Thomas J Barclay, they moved to the Twin Cities, making their home in Minnetonka. They were active members of the St. David's Episcopal Church. She was a long-time member of the Lakeview Women's Golf League, actively participating well into her 80's. She was a voracious reader and loved her cocker spaniels and cats. A private memorial service will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, Farmington, MN. Memorials are preferred to St. David's Center for Child and Family Development.
