Tice, Helen age 85, formerly of Edina, MN, passed away November 14, 2017, in Memphis, TN. Helen was employed by the Minneapolis Star-Tribune from 1968 until her retirement in 1996. In between her many years of service as a secretary in the Star Tribune Legal Department, Helen was the Administrative Assistant to the publisher of the Star-Tribune, John Cowles, Sr., until his death in 1983. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Deborah Otte, and two great-grandchildren who passed in infancy. She is survived by her sons Richard (Judith), Robert (Lana), and Ronald, her 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
