David, Barbara Diane age 83, passed away at Hillcrest of Wayzata Memory Care on November 8, 2017. She had been a resident there for over 2 years and endeared herself to residents and staff alike. Barbara was born in Minneapolis on August 11, 1934 and attended West High School and the U of M. She was a long time resident of Richfield and Bloomington MN and had retired to Naples, FL for many years. Barbara was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love and will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. Though she had complications later in life, she met it all with grace, dignity and humor that has always been part of her strong spirit of life. She is survived by her son, Dirk (Heather) Van Krevelen and grandchildren, Garrett, Mason and Lauren Van Krevelen, along with Barbara's friend & companion, John Roegge. She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Van Krevelen, daughter, Cynthia Van Krevelen and husband James R. David. Service will be on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at 2:30pm, visitation at 2:00pm at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave., Edina followed by a celebration of life.
