Stenborg, Hilda Emilie age 96, of St Louis Park, died peacefully on Nov. 14, 2017. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Forrest A. Stenborg. Survived by daughters, Carol (Tom) Snater and Kathryn (Gary) Schmidt; grandchildren, Greg Schmidt of Seattle, WA, Peter (Sarah) Schmidt of Denver, CO, and Karly (Mike) Aust of Bangkok, Thailand; great-grandchildren, Owen, Emma, and Addie Aust. Hilda was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Pforzheim, Germany, the only child of Karl Friedrich Kraher and Pauline (Bayer) Kraher. They immigrated in 1925, settling in Kasson, MN. After graduating from Fairview Hospital of Nursing, Hilda worked as an RN at Mpls General Hospital and the Nicollet Clinic. Memorial service Tues., Nov. 21, 1:00 pm at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Serley Chapel, 50th and Knox Ave S, Mpls. Visitation at noon, lunch following the service.
