Braastad, Harold Arvin Age 86, born April 25, 1931, passed November 13, 2017. Preceded in death by his father & mother, Archie & Seraphine Braastad; sister, Angeline Kientz; brother, Kenneth Braastad. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Delaine Braastad; two brothers, Howard (Millie) Braastad & Ron (Shirley) Braastad; one sister, Marlene Atkins; sister-in-law, Jeanette Braastad; sister-in-law, Kathy (Brook) Adolfson; children, Julie (Don) Wurtzel, Jeff (Nancy) Braastad, Rick (Julie) Braastad, Tim (Pam) Braastad, Bruce (Tammy) Braastad; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with an additional baby girl on the way; nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Harold served in the Army in the Korean War obtaining the rank of Corporal. He served community residents with quality service for over 50 years as a master electrician and electrical contractor. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at GLEN CARY LUTHERAN CHURCH (15531 Central Ave. NE, Ham Lake) at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30.
