Edward A. 'Ed' Barnowski

Barnowski, Edward A. "Ed" 74, of Naples, FL, formerly of Chanhassen, MN and Williamsville, NY passed away suddenly at NCH Hospital on October 17, 2017. His family was at his side. Son of Anthony and Dorothy Barnowski, Ed was born in Scranton, PA in 1943. He grew up in Schenectady, NY with his brother Chet and his sisters Dorothy and Dianne. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Cindy, his two sisters Dorothy and Dianne, his two sons Christopher and Michael, his daughters-in law Maureen and Michele and his grandchildren Hayes, Rory, Eleanor and Tate who will dearly miss their grandpa Ed. Ed was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and received his bachelors and masters degree from Syracuse University. A member of the Schenectady City School District Athletic Hall of Fame and the Capital District Baseball Hall of Fame Ed was an outstanding baseball player, and played professionally for the Rochester Redwings and Baltimore Orioles. Ed also served as general manager of the Rochester Redwings. After baseball the majority of Ed's career was spent in sales management with the Berry Company. Ed's was a loving husband, dedicated father, and wonderful friend. We miss him terribly.
