Sohr, Lawrence L. age 72 of Andover, passed away peacefully at his home Oct. 15, 2017 with his family by his side. Larry had retired from MTC after 33 years of service, he enjoyed coffee with the Vets Club at the Coon Rapids Senior Center, and was an avid deer hunter. Preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Pearle Sohr. Larry was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra; children, Erick (Sheila) Sohr and Alicia (Chris) Leavitt; grandchildren, Riley and Carter Leavitt; siblings, Judy (Clarence) Fischer, Bill (Catherine) Sohr, Barry Sohr and his loving aunt, Joyce; along with many other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday (10/18/2017) from 5-8 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Grace Lutheran Church, 13655 Round Lake Blvd NW, Andover. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Oak Grove.
