Hoelke, Christian E. age 21 of Excelsior. Our beloved Cheech was taken from us years too soon on September 17, 2017. Preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Lorraine Beeson; Byrll and Howard Hoelke. Christian was born in Guatelmala and joined our family at 5 years old. A little boy with an infectious smile, Christian spent most of his school years in Minnetonka playing sports, hanging with friends, acting in school plays and playing on Lake Minnewashta. We are grateful for all the people who gave Christian a childhood full of rich experiences and friendships. How do you describe the essence of a young man such as Christian in a few short words? You could say that he was kind, funny, compassionate, creative, and charismatic. All that would be true, but it wouldn't come close to describing our beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend.
