Gesink, Sally A. Age 91, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2017. She is preceded in death by beloved husband of 63 years, Burt, as well as her parents, brothers and sisters. Sally (Nana) was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by son, Scott Gesink; daughters, Deanna Rohde and Deborah Lasher (Jim); grandchildren, Kelly Eberhardt (Dave), Jessica Whelan (Patrick), Kate Lasher (Andrew), Ben Gesink and Julia Gesink. Sally had the heart of a servant leader and was always willing to help others. She volunteered for the Nursing Cadet Corp, had a rewarding career as a Medical Assistant, served as the Iowa MA Society President in the 70's, and volunteered during her retirement in various healthcare capacities. Sally lived a full life and will be deeply missed by her family. Memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
