Schroeder, Margaret Kristheen Ramsey passed away in her home on September 17, 2017 at the age of 87. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Memorial Church, 2420 Dunwoody Avenue, Navarre, MN, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Donations can be made in her memory to: Calvary Memorial Church or to WeCANMN.org Margaret is predeceased by her daughter, Rebecca Knuth, and her parents, Olga and Andrew Ramsey. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, of 64 years. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her children, Kent (Michelle), Lynne (Elaine) and Corinne (Rick); her 8 grandchildren; and her sister, Ona (John). Margaret was born in LaCrosse, WI in 1930. She graduated from Central High School and went on to earn a B.S. in Education from LaCrosse State College in 1952. She went on to teach in Manitowoc, WI, Mankato, MN and Mound, MN. She retired from teaching and school administration at the Calvary Memorial Christian School in 1990. Margaret was an exceptionally creative and productive person. She enjoyed decoupage, working with stain glass, ceramics, sewing, upholstering, knitting, crocheting, camping, reading and she continued teaching and volunteering at her church for many years. Margaret and her husband Dennis were prolific travelers, first across the U.S. and then across the world after their retirement. Margaret avidly captured with her camera the moments she shared with her family and the many adventures she and Dennis experienced in their travels. Deeply generous in spirit, Margaret took action to help and minister to the people in her neighborhood, community, church, and the world.
