Ness, Bette A. (Pettit) nee Hawn age 85 of Buffalo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was born July 6th, 1932 to Elizabeth & Robert Hawn. Beloved, caring and devoted mother and friend is preceded in death by husbands, Lawrence Pettit and Robert Ness; brother, Tom Hawn; and daughter, Laure Jorges (Pettit); survived by children, Julie (Gary) Sobon, JoEllen (Steve) Otten, Mary (Bruce) Boerger, Lisa (Rupert) Morrish, Amy Pettit (Bill Brecht), Chad (Mary) Pettit; son-in-law, Rodger Jorges; and many grand-children & great-grandchildren.
