Yee, Theresa Age 88 of Fridley, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 16, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester; and brother, Thomas Liang. Survived by her four children, Mary Yee Johnson, John Yee (Mia Chung), Joyce Yee, Ellen Yee; and eight grandchildren. Theresa was born in Shandong, China and immigrated to the U.S. in 1950. She graduated from Benedictine College (Kansas) and became an elementary school teacher. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Retired from teaching in the Minneapolis Public Schools, Theresa lived in California and New Mexico before returning home to Minnesota last year. A devout Catholic, Theresa was sustained by her faith throughout her life. Her family was blessed to have been loved by her and will miss her greatly. The funeral service will be held at St. William's Catholic Church, 6120 5th St NE Fridley, MN 55432 on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation 1 hour prior.
