Hoch, Louise E. age 93, of Columbia Heights, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at home just over one month before her 94th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; sister, Claire; brother-in-law, Stan; and grandson, Tirso. Louise is survived by her special sisters, Ann Carlson and Linda (Gary) Dahlgren; son, Dennis (Mary Jo) Hoch; daughter, Marna (Cruz) Gomez; grandchildren, Nicole (Steve) Carhill, Ramon, Diana, and Virgie; six great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. Louise was born in Minneapolis and grew up in NE Mpls attending Edison High School. She and her husband built their own home and then a cabin in Northern Minnesota. She was gifted with artistic talents which she used extensively in her ceramics, painting, and a multitude of home décor items. Her family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. Visitation will be Monday, August 21 from 5-8 PM.
