Preceded in death by loving wife, Genevieve; grandson, Jared; 1 sister and 4 brothers. Survived by daughters, Carolyn (Ralph) Nilles, Elaine (Richard) Larson, Gloria (Bob) Gilstad, Narese (Jeff) Knopik; brothers, Orval (Judy) & Norman (Audrey) Dalberg; also 8 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Sam felt very called to share his Christian faith throughout his life. Funeral service Monday Aug. 21st, 11 AM at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View.
