Pappas, George C. Age 69, of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by father, Chris; aunt, Stella; and uncle, Nick. Survived by mother, Dee; brother, John; uncle, Tom (Marge); cousins, Cathy and Pam; and friends. George was on the Washburn HS State Champion Chess Team. He graduated from Macalester College. He enjoyed yearly trips to the Rocky Mountain State with his family and most of all George just liked to talk to people. He had numerous major medical problems throughout the years but rarely complained. Special thanks to the Bywood East Health Care Center.
