Hamilton, Marianne DeVay Of Mpls., passed away at her home on August 6th, 2017 at age 97. As a child Marianne acted in commercials and local theater. Most notably she starred in national radio show, Buddy & Ginger, broadcast from Chicago. While her husband was serving in WWII she began a lifelong commitment to working for Peace. In 1982 she and a friend started W.A.M.M, whose purpose is to attain Peace and Justice through education, action and the empowerment of women. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman and three of her children, Stephen, Anne and Christopher. She is survived by her children Gregory, Normandy, Antonia, Jean, Mary and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will start at 2:30pm and the Memorial service will be at 3:00pm on Saturday August 19, 2017 at the Edina chapel of the MN Cremation Society, 7110 France Ave So, and 952-924-4100.
