Ames, Frank E. age 81, of Brooklyn Center, on August 6, 2017. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Dorothy and his parents. Survived by two daughters, Barb and Lisa (Mark); sister, Ardis; "adopted" daughter, Laura; also survived by beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. As an estimator for Dale Tile and CD Tile, Frank "never worked a day in his life." When he was away from the world of tile, he enjoyed road trips, gardening and crossword puzzles. His gentle spirt and wise counsel will be missed by all who knew him.
