Jordet, Donna Mae (Range) Age 91, resident of Punta Gorda, Florida and Merrifield, Minnesota, passed away July 20, 2017 at her lake cabin, "Home on the Range." She joins her beloved husband of 68 years, Vernon Bruce Jordet, who passed in October 2016. Donna was also preceded in death by her son, Joel Vern Jordet, siblings Edward Range, (Wanda), Delores Murray (Lyle), Roger Range (Joyce) and Donald Rignell. Survived by daughters, Laurie Jordet Thomas and Jan Jordet; son-in-law Owe "Swede" Lund; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Gabriel, Lindsey (Brett), Jamie (Lawrence) and Emily; along with her two great granddaughters, Dylan and Medora ; and a whole raft of nieces and nephews. Donna worked for US Bank in Robbinsdale for more than 20 years before retiring to their precious little blue house in Punta Gorda, spending half the year in the woods of Minnesota. In her early life, she earned the nickname the "Supervisor," graduated to "Foreman," and finally "General." She loved playing cards with Mary Ann and the girls, doing puzzles and keeping a spotless home. She opened her door to all visitors and served great martinis and manhattans. For many years, she lovingly cared for her husband who finally succumbed to Alzheimer's.
