Herbrandson, Margaret Lois age 88 passed away July 19 at Bel Rae Senior Living in Mounds View, formerly of Edina and Brooten, MN. Margaret was born to Oscar and Thea on April 13, 1929 in Brooten, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in Big Grove Lutheran Church, and graduated from Brooten Senior High School in 1946. Margaret attended Luther College for one year prior to enrolling and graduating from Swedish Hospital School of Nursing. Margaret's nursing career was in industrial/occupational health nursing, working at Montgomery Ward, North American National Life Insurance and Mutual Service Insurance. Margaret retired from the hypertension program at Berman Center. During retirement, Margaret enjoyed volunteering at Central Lutheran Church maintaining their Cradle roll, golfing, Bible study, "Lois club", and watching Minnesota sports. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister in law, Eugene and Verna. She will be missed by her cousins and many friends, especially Sharon and Gary Ellis. Memorials preferred to Big Grove Lutheran Church, Minnesota Military Families or donor's choice.
