Ferguson, Thelma Mae 94, West Saint Paul. Passed away on July 4, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, Esther and D.B. Hepler, her husband, William Ferguson, and her brother, Thaine Hepler Sr. Survived by her son Buddy Ferguson and his wife Gloria Ferguson, her granddaughter Anna Asplen, Anna's husband Mark Asplen, and her great-grandson Wade Asplen, all of St. Paul; her grandson Aaron Ferguson, his wife Melissa Walker, and her great-grandson Leo Ferguson, all of Portland, Ore.; her sister Dot Butcher of Lee's Summit, Mo; her nephew Brian Butcher, his wife Cynthia Butcher, her grand-niece Lauren Butcher and grand-nephew Nick Butcher, all of Blue Springs, Mo.; and her nephew Thaine Hepler Jr. of Clovis, N.M. Born in Springdale, Ark., Thelma lived most of her life in Winfield, Kan., and later Overland Park, Kan., before moving to West Saint Paul in 2010. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She cherished her family and treasured her independence, which she was proudly able to maintain throughout most of her long life. She will be missed.
