Knox, John M. Age 95 of St. Paul died peacefully on July 17, 2017. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Lee Taylor Knox, parents, Arthur and Margaret, and brother, Frank. Survived by his children, Michael (Shirley), Helen and Paul; grandchildren, Christopher Knox, Denise, Tara, Rachel and Michael Knox, Jr., Peter (Kelly), Chris and Katie Cornet; brother, Robert (Barbara) Knox; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John graduated from Humboldt High School followed by Saint Thomas College, Class of 1943. He was a decorated WWII Veteran, serving in U.S. Marine Corp in the South Pacific. Retired from the IRS in 1986. Member of the American Legion Post 418 for over 50 years and Third Order of Carmelite. Special thanks to Denise Brost, his care-giver of many years, as well as to the loving staff at The Willows of Ramsey Hill.
