Malmsten, Patrick Russell was born in Duluth MN on April 13, 1924. Died April 6, 2017 in Destin FL. Preceded in death by parents, Russell & Myrtle Malmsten, brother Mike, sisters, Mary (Sy) Moorman and Jane (Lee) Johnson. Survived by wife, Delores (Jo), sons, Pat (Deb) and Scott (Karen), grandchildren, Russell, Bradley, and Allison, sister-in-law, Nona, and nieces and nephews. Pat attended South High School in Minneapolis and graduated January 1943. He enlisted with the Navy Air Corp and trained as a pilot. Upon discharge from service, Pat married Jo and attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a business degree in 1951. Pat worked at Honeywell from 1951 and retired as director in 1987. Pat and Jo lived in Shorewood until moving to Florida in 2001. Pat enjoyed gardening and landscaping, stamp and coin collecting, family road trips, and his grandchildren. Pat and Jo maintained lifetime friendships with the Honeywell bridge group. Pat is best known by his family for summer pool parties and by his friends for being a loving spouse to Jo and friend to all.
