Wilkens, (nee Mosher) Bette M. of St. Michael, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2017, at the age of 77 from Parkinson's disease. Loving mother to Julie A. (Rex) Bernard, Adam C. (Carrie) Wilkens, and Matthew J. (Pamela) Wilkens. Grandmother to four bright and unique grandsons: Clay, David, Martin and Evan; and step-grandson Kasey R. (Lisa) Bernard. Bette is survived by her husband Charlie, four brothers Wayne (Carol) Mosher of St. Michael, MN; Nathan Mosher, of Moorhead, MN; Donald (Jane) Mosher, of Edina, MN; and Tom (Jan) Mosher, of Wabasha, MN; three sisters, Judy (Jim) Ellingson, of Moorhead, MN; Vickie Payne, of Woodbury, MN; and Colette (Bill) Johnson, of Hanover, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Forrest, Rodney, and Claude; and her sister Eva. Bette was born December 14th, 1939, on the family farm near Beltrami, MN, to the late Carola and Daniel "Doc" Mosher. She was the oldest daughter of 11 brothers and sisters. Bette had many wonderful talents: cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, Rose-maling, but her greatest talent, gift and love was her family. There will be a service and celebration of Bette's life at Buffalo Presbyterian Church on July 3rd at 11am.
