Borys, Stanley C. age 94 of Shoreview, formerly of St. Anthony Village, passed away on May 28, 2017. Edison High School graduate Class of 1942 and NDSU Mechanical Engineering Class of 1953. Proud WWII Navy Vet. He gave his family his love of Minnesota sports, Easter borscht, polka, good story telling, fishing, golfing and the cabin. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary LeVoir and Emily Benzinger. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Irene A.; children, David, Doug (Eva), Daniel, Dale (Colleen), Rita (Steve) Arndorfer, Janice Borys, Lisa (Eric) Jensen; 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday (TONIGHT) 5 PM at Billman Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Mpls with prayer service at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 AM with visit 1 hour prior at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St, Lino Lakes. Burial St. John The Baptist Cemetery, New Brighton.
