Voltz, Doris L. Age 92 of Crystal, MN. Daughter of Ingval and Grace (Thomas) Engebretson of Clear Lake, WI passed away on 5/27/17. Doris attended elementary school in Reeve, WI and graduated with the Class of 1942 at Union Free High School, Clear Lake, WI. She moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked for D.W. Onan's Co. In 1945 she started to work for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in the Revenue Department. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Chorus for many years and a life member of the Telephone Pioneer's Club. Doris was married to Edmund Voltz in 1952 at Christ Lutheran Church in Mpls., MN and were blessed with 3 children. After the death of her husband in 1970, she returned to work in the Revenue Department at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and completed 25 years of service, retiring from US West. Doris was a longtime resident of Crystal, MN. She was a charter member of St. James Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by husband Edmund; parents Ingval and Grace Engebretson; sisters Marie, Frances and Vergil. Doris is survived by brother Vern (Beverly) Engebretson of Clear Lake, WI and children David (Michelle) Voltz of Champlin, MN, Dawn (Douglas) Hallberg of Wyoming, MN and Karen (Randy) Beck of East Bethel, MN; 4 grandchildren Keith Hallberg, Melissa (Frank) Dang, Shawn (Cystal) Voltz and Travis Beck; 4 great grandchildren Peyton Hallberg, Gradon and Gabriella Dang and Jackson Voltz; and many relatives and friends.
