Asfahl, Jeffrey D. "Ash" of Ramsey, Minnesota passed away at the age of 52. Jeff was born 1/25/65 in Rochester, MN to Marilyn and Albert "Smokey" Asfahl. He graduated in 1983 from Rochester John Marshall, where he played hockey. He graduated from St. Cloud State and worked for many years at the City of Eagan - Parks and Recreation, and most recently at McNallan Office Systems. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Beth (Broman), son Sam (fiancée Kari), and daughter Taylor. He is also survived by his parents, Marilyn and Smokey, of Rochester, sister Dee Ann (Lon) Binder of Lakeville, brother and sister in-laws Rod and Judy Mattson, Mike and Pam Broman, Jeff and Deb Schubert, and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was a man of God, who loved our Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a devoted Christian who started Foresight Ministries, a men's Bible study group 13 years ago. He was a loving family man who enjoyed Sam and Taylor's games and events. Jeff also enjoyed golfing, family ski trips, and outdoor recreation. Jeff always had a smile on his face and was usually plotting some good-natured fun! He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
