Schuldt, Jane E. a.k.a. "Rocky" age 63, of Minneapolis passed away on May 20, 2017 at the end of a 10-month journey with pancreatic cancer. Jane was born December 16, 1953, raised in Shell Rock, Iowa and moved to Minneapolis in 1973. Jane began her successful career in the international travel business in 1977. In 1980, she established Pacific World, Inc., a sales and marketing representation firm to provide professional business-to-business services for high-quality, Asia-Pacific based Destination Management Companies (DMCs) seeking business development in the North American market. The company was rebranded to World Marketing Group (WMG) in 1993 when the DMC portfolio expanded beyond Asia. In 2015, WMG celebrated its 35th anniversary. Jane met and married the love of her life, John O. Fitch, on May 12, 1984. Together they traveled side by side for work and pleasure to over 50 countries. They also enjoyed the tranquility of Tanglewood, their summer property on Gull Lake, Minnesota. Jane is survived by her husband John of 33 years; mother Margaret (Don) Powell; brother Michael (Marilyn) Schuldt; Sisters Kathy (David) Beebe, Suzanne (Rick) Pepin, Robyn (John) Holden; step-children Leslie (Stephen) Hite, M'Chele Fitch, Peter (Nita) Fitch; step-grandchildren Madeline (Tim) Klossner, Virginia Fitch-Braun, Harrison Hite, Chloe Hite, Theodore Hite, James Fitch and Alexa Fitch; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends worldwide. She was preceded in death by her father, Minor W. Schuldt. Jane was truly an exceptional woman, elegant, intelligent, hard-working, deeply caring, and generously loving. She was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of Jane's life on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church at 11 AM. Visitation 1 1/2 hours prior. Lunch will be served after the service. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancan.org
