Wohlrabe, Jean Watson born July 13, 1925 of Edina passed away peacefully on May 25, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones. Jean was a gift to all who knew her with her giving spirit and her unconditional love. She will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dr. A. Cabot Wohlrabe and brother Harold Watson. Jean was a graduate of Washburn High School. She attended the University of Minnesota where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Sorority. She and her family spent many happy years at their lake cabin in Balsam Lake, WI and at Sanibel Island, FL. For more than 30 years Jean enjoyed the company and camaraderie of The Tennis Girls. Jean and her late husband were long time members of Normandale Lutheran Church of Edina where their strong faith and love of music was an inspiration to their family. For the last 13 years Jean has lived at Friendship Village in Bloomington, nurturing friendships and continuing her genuine interest in others. Jean is survived by sons Brian (Lorraine) and Bruce (Laurie); daughter Ellen (Steve Frank); 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5-7 PM Washburn-McReavy, Edina. Funeral will be Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 AM Normandale Lutheran, Edina. Memorials preferred to Friendship Village Benevolent Fund or Norman-dale Lutheran Church.
