Geyen, Daniel Jon Age 40, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 23, 2017. He was born in Minneapolis on April 18, 1977 to Linda Geyen and Richard Geyen. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1995 and Hennepin County Vo-Tech in 1997 in carpentry. He was employed by Miller Maintenance. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon Wood, Helen Geyen and Orlyn Pederson; aunt, Vickie Seul; uncle Greg Messing; and great-grandparents. Survived by sons, Gunner and Colten; mother, Linda Geyen; father, Richard (Claire) Geyen; brother, Blake (Mandy) Geyen; grandparents, Anita Wood, James Geyer and Marcia Pederson; step-sister, Desiree (Dave) Pasko; step-brother. Josh (Carolyn) Paetow; nieces and nephews and numerous friends and family. Dan is remembered for his love for his sons. He also loved fishing, hunting, car racing, baseball with his sons and hanging out with friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th St, Bloomington, on Tuesday May 30 at 11 AM with reviewal for 1 hour prior to the service.
