Lathrop, Jean died on 7 May 2017. Jean was born in Minneapolis, on 24 March 1925. Following high school Jean attended St. Mary's Nursing School and was a cadet nurse during WWII. After the war, Jean married her high school sweetheart, Lee Lathrop, and lived in Wayzata. Jean volunteered at various hospitals, churches, Courage Center and Interfaith. Jean enjoyed travel, playing bridge, quilting, knitting and needlepoint. Jean's needlework won State Fair blue ribbons. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; parents, Lloyd and Victoria Nermoe, and brother, Paul Nermoe. She is survived by her son, Gregory Lathrop; daughters, Terri Clark and Lisa Lathrop; grandchildren, Graham Lathrop, Edward Lathrop, Sarah Midkiff, George Winterowd, Darren Winterowd, and Dustin Winterowd; and great grandchildren, Madison Lathrop, Fenix Winterowd, Clementine Midkiff, and Charlee Winterowd. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 24 May 2017, 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM at The Church of the Holy Name, 155 County Road 24 in Medina, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Minneapolis.
