Hibbard, Michael Scott 9/1/56 - 4/21/17 Michael passed away suddenly from complications due to blood clots. He was 60 years old. The world lost a kind, generous, charming and good hearted soul. Michael was a longtime presence at Bachman's and always had a smile for visitors. We are thankful to the Bachman family for the years they taught him the business from literally the "ground" up. He had a wonderful stint on both WCCO's "Green & Growing" and was one of the guru's on KSTP's "Home & Garden" show. He also wrote a garden "bible" called "Don't You Hate It When". He was an avid traveler and worked as a "horticultural" host for Holiday Vacations for many years. Mike could be found once a year in Guatemala at the Esquipulas Basilica working in the gardens and providing seeds for fruits and vegetables. Michael is survived by his loving parents Hiller & Sybil Hibbard and sister Terri (Calvin) Ledford of Salinas, CA. A memorial service will be held June 10th at 11:00 AM at Cross of Christ Community Church, 8748 210th St. W., Lakeville, MN 55044. Visitation following the service.
