Buschkowsky, Viola age 95 passed away April 22, 2017. She was born August 27, 1921, the older of 2 daughters, to George Buschkowsky and Mary (Jeurissen) Buschkowsky, on the farm in Chanhassen Township. Viola lived in Chanhassen for 90 years before moving to Chaska Auburn Homes. She was a life-long member of St. Hubert's Parish, where she attended and graduated from school. She had a strong faith and praying the rosary was a part of her daily prayer life. Viola was a dedicated daughter who cared for her mother, until her mother's passing. She worked for the Carver County Daycare Licensing Department until her retirement in 2001. Viola enjoyed reading the daily paper and working the Cryptoquip. She was an excellent speller and could spell most any word correctly when asked. Viola enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks and gardening. She was a very organized person and kept a very clean house. Viola lived a simple, quiet life with a beautiful smile and a warm, caring heart. She will be deeply missed by her loving sister, LaVerne Paul, special friends Steve and Barb Rademacher, cousins and friends. Mass of Christial Burial, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6 pm with visitation 1 hour prior all at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St., Chanhassen (952-934-9106). Interment at St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Homes, Auburn Homes or St. Hubert's Parish.
