Carlson, Ilene L. Ilene L. Carlson left this world to be with our Blessed Lord on April 21, 2017. Ilene was born January 3, 1931 to Esther (Pfeifer) and Alfred Ruettiman in Minnapolis, MN. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. She was a wonderful mother to Catherine, Joseph, Michael and Robert. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine (Michael) Laurent; son, Joseph (Debbie) Carlson; daughters-in-law, Julie (Lawson, Carlson) Lane and Jeanne Carlson; grandchildren, Michelle, Joseph, Rob, Ryan, Blake and Zach Carlson and Jody and Jesse Hill; great-grandchildren, Justin, Robbie, Rohan, Rajam, Tallea, Teagan, Brandon and Ashlee; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sharon Ruettiman; and many nieces and nephews. Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Alfred Ruettiman; brother, Raymond Ruettiman; husband, Gordon Carlson; and sons, Michael and Robert Carlson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 35 Birch Street East, Annandale, MN.
