Holm, Missy Ann A celebration of Missy's life will be held Saturday, April 29, at Freshwater Church, 138 W. 1st St., Waconia, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. and the service at 2. Missy is mourned and deeply missed by her parents, Bill and Kristi Holm; her sister, Jennifer Holm; her brother, William Holm (Chrislee); nieces, Raven and Alexandra; and nephew, Liam, as well as many other relatives and friends. Missy bravely battled ovarian cancer for nearly two years; her courage was an inspiration to so many. She believed passionately in early childhood development and was dedicated to preschool education for 15 years. She taught at Westonka Preschool and Minnetonka Lutheran Preschool, and for the last 10 years at All Saints Preschool and Child Care in Minnetonka. The staff and families at All Saints were incredibly supportive, enabling Missy to continue the teaching she so dearly loved. Our family is deeply grateful, as was Missy, for all the ongoing kindnesses and unwavering supportive measures shown by them. That encouragement and support helped Missy continue her passion for teaching despite the cancer complications. How she dearly loved being with the children. Our family also will always have unending gratitude to N. C. Little Hospice in Edina for all the phenomenal tender loving care and attention Missy received. Their amazing compassionate tenderness eased her final journey with cancer in comfort and peacefulness. In so many truly heartfelt, remarkable ways they ministered to our family as well.
