Preceded in death by his first wife Mary, parents, twin brother Eugene, brother Edward, sisters Elizabeth and Anna, nephew Christopher. Jim began his 35 year career with IBM and was one of the pioneer leaders in making a new accounts receivable system a practical, workable tool. Many innovative contributions earned him the reputation of expert in A/R with credentials unsurpassed in IBM throughout the country. He was an excellent mentor and role model and went the extra mile to assist his co-workers. He retired for two days when he was hired as a consultant for Elemica, a new company. He established the A/R department and was the Global Manager for 10 years. His love for fishing began as a child when his father would take him to the ocean. This love continued throughout his life. When he came to MN to marry Kathy, he gave up his weekly ocean fishing with his friends. Kathy and Jim began making annual trips to visit and he would fish his favorite places, Brigantine and Cape May NJ. Jim was always willing to give a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors. He loved his volunteer work on the funeral hospitality team, and memorials are preferred to support this ministry at Our Lady of Grace. Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
