Folland, Raynold (Ray) Age 94, of St Louis Park MN, passed away peacefully March 22 with family at his side. Preceded in death by parents Oliver and Olaug and grandson Grant. Survived by his wife of 65 years June, children Roger (Barbara) and Cynthia, grandson William, sister Marion Dahlen and nephews Kevin and Brian Dahlen. Ray attended Duluth Central HS, where he was a state champion cross-country skier. He served in the US Navy (USS Paducah) 1940-45, graduated U of Minnesota in 1948, and became a registered civil engineer. Ray held public works positions in Moorhead, Albert Lea, and St. Louis Park, before becoming Director of Construction for the Metro Waste Control Commission, St Paul MN. Ray was an ASCE Fellow, active in engineering societies, a 70-year Mason, and a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Ray was an avid reader and outdoorsman who loved skiing, fishing, canoeing in the BWCAW, and photographing America's natural wonders. Memorials preferred to donors choice.
