Rummel, Gerald Conrad recently of Lakeville and Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at Bethany Good Samaritan Center, March 20, 2017, age 82. Born and raised in St Paul. Graduated from Cretin High School, 1952, St John's University at Collegeville, 1956, and William Mitchell College of Law, 1960. He practiced law in St. Paul for many years. Preceded in death by parents Russel and Stella Rummel; step-mother Jessie Rummel; and brother Richard. Jerry is survived by Marian Rummel; brothers Jim (Sandy) and Tim (Mary Kay); sister-in-law Moira; sons Paul and David; daughters Karen Skagerberg (Joel) and Jane Lydon (Steve); 6 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. Service 2PM Wednesday, March 29 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006. Visitation 1 hour before the service. Interment Saint John's Alumni Cemetery. Memorial preferred.
