Jordan T. Marks

Marks, Jordan T. Jordan T. Marks, beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, age 29, of Minneapolis, MN passed away on March 18, 2017. Jordan was born on February 11, 1988. He grew up on Lake Minnetonka and in Windermere, FL. He also spent time living in Bozeman, MT. He felt at home at the lake, in the mountains, anywhere, as long as his family and many friends were nearby. Jordan loved adventure, the outdoors, world travel, thrill seeking, and dogs. He enjoyed wakeboarding, skydiving, snow-boarding, hiking, hunting, music, painting, reading, and collecting rare antiques. Anything he couldn't experience, he lived through his passion for cinema. Jordan was an impeccably dressed gentleman with a strong sense of justice, who embraced the world with natural, childlike curiosity. He approached life with perpetual wonder, excitement, and positivity, and he inspired everyone around him to do the same. Unbound by any convention, but his own heart, Jordan's optimism was immeasurable; he found the good in everyone and saw light in the darkest of places. He loved fiercely, and his love was pure, enduring, and limitless. Jordan was truly selfless. He sacrificed everything he could for the countless people in his life and never thought to ask for anything in return. He knew that the stresses of everyday were insignificant, and continually reminded us that happiness could only come from being with the people you loved. He will be missed and loved eternally by all. Jordan is survived by his mother Stacy Marks and his father Curtis Marks. He is also survived by his siblings, Taylor Marks, Mackenzie Marks, Parker Marks, and Brittney Marks-Renneberg, his grandparents, Ted and Sharon Sartin, and three dogs who will never stop waiting for him to come home. The void that Jordan leaves behind is immense and forever present. To know Jordan was to love him unconditionally. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24 from 5-8 pm at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W 50th St, Edina, MN. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 11am at Mount Olivet Church West Campus, 7150 Rolling Acres Rd, Excelsior, MN. There will be a brief visitation at 10 am preceding the ceremony. The family invites all to attend the burial immediately following the service at Lakewood Cemetery. A memorial foundation is being established in Jordan's name, and details are to follow.
