Karp, Marliss J. Age 90, formally of New Hope. Born April 11, 1926 in Kenyon, MN. Passed away peacefully March 17. Preceded in death by parents, Olaf and Edith Kindseth; loving husband of 59 years Stanley and beloved daughters Sara Call and Patrice Dzubay; brother Desmond (Debs) Kindseth. Survived by children Catherine (Thomas) Mich, Christopher (Catherine) and T.J. (Angela); brother Bill (Arlene) Kindseth; grandchildren Tommy, Patrick (Kate) Mich, Katie (Danny) Montzka, David (Marlo) Karp, Jennifer (Jeff) Leopold, Peter (Tamara) Dzubay, Nikki (David) Walbright, Leslie (Brent) Holtz, Rick Call, Nicholas, Emily and Andrew Karp; sons-in-law Peter Dzubay and Brian Call; twelve great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews. Marliss graduated from Kenyon High School in 1944 and Minneapolis Business School. She always called Kenyon home despite living in many Midwestern cities with Stan's work. A homemaker while raising children she then struck out on a career in her 40's that lasted nearly four decades at the Downtown Dayton's store. Throughout her life Marliss was passionate about reading, golf, playing bridge and entertaining family and friends in her New Hope home. Memorial Mass 11 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior on March 24 at St. Raphael's Church, Crystal. Memorials preferred to the donors favorite charity. Internment Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery New Hope.
