Rosenberg, Rose Conner Age 92, of St. Paul, MN. Passed away February 28, 2017. Beloved mother, wife and grandmother. Survived by husband of 69 years Harvey; sons Ross (Shelly) and Stephen, and daughter Susan; grandchildren Katherine Edin (Dave), Jessica Rosenberg, and Ryan Rosenberg; great grandchildren Levi and Cameron Scholen. Preceded in death by father, Stephen Conner, and mother, Gertrude Dooley. Rose was an extraordinary woman, utterly devoted to her family. She shared her friendship, and talents (especially her cooking) liberally with all who knew her. Rose was born in Cumming, IA. Raised in a family with eight siblings, she distinguished herself by being the first to graduate from college. She was a registered nurse, serving at hospitals in Des Moines, Duluth, and Minneapolis. Throughout her life she maintained a lively interest in medicine. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, and, most of all, caring for those around her. Rose was a woman of steadfast faith who will be greatly missed by her family and her inseparable canine companion, Buddy. Mass of Christian Burial at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH 2055 Bohland Ave (St. Paul), March 3 at 10am. Visitation: Mar. 2, 6pm-8pm at O'Halloran and Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave S. (St. Paul) and one hour prior the service at the church. Memorials to Lumen Christi or Animal Humane Society.
