De Smet, Barbara Cassidy of Naples, FL, and formerly Deephaven, MN, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2017. She was born September 6, 1937 to Margaret and John J. Cassidy. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Harry, of 54 years; loving mother of Elizabeth, John and Fitz. Loving Grandmother to Sydney, Kristina, Tully, Caroline and Callie. Sister of the late Jack Cassidy, Mary Cassidy Burns, and the late Margaret Cassidy Burns. Throughout her life, Barbara loved to serve others and had a zest for life. She will be dearly missed. A funeral mass was held in Naples, FL.
